"The Key" provides a range of Christian activities in a building comprising well appointed rooms including a hall, lounge, kitchen etc. The Key is a God given facility inspired through the adjacent Bethesda Baptist Church. The Key is staffed by a combination of paid and voluntary people.

Routine Operation
The day to day running of the Key is undertaken by an appointed management team. The manager "on the spot" is Mrs Lynne Preece who took up the appointment at the beginning of April 2010. She is in situ most Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Thursdays and Fridays.
The catering activities of the Coffee Shop and some other events are under the general supervision of Christine McLarty.
Policy and Direction
The overall management of the Key is provided by the trustees, who are appointed from the membership of the Bethesda Baptist Church, Ipswich. The charity is registered as the Bethesda Community Charitable Trust (BCCT), registered number 1042816
