AN EVENING WITH TOUGH TALK

“Tough Talk” is made up of a group of men with backgrounds of ex-bouncers, ex-football hooligans and ex-East End hard men who have turned their backs on their past. Many of the team are keen power lifters.  The group have found that the message of hope in Jesus Christ reaches people from all backgrounds and age groups.  The team travel throughout the UK, Europe and worldwide performing power lifting demonstrations as a backdrop for telling their amazing stories.  The team take their unique presentation to at least one prison every week of the year.  We are so pleased that “Tough Talk” will be returning to The Key.  Don’t miss this unique evening and bring all your friends.  Tickets £5 each.

AN EVENING WITH DAN WALKER

Dan Walker is best known as presenter of Football Focus on the BBC.  During his time on television he has been nominated for a number of awards and won the Royal Television Society Sports Award in 2005 for Regional Sports Presenter of the Year.  In addition to his TV work Dan works on radio and can often be heard presenting 5 Live Sports Show for the BBC.  Recently Dan has also been a presenter on Songs of Praise.  The son of a Baptist Minister Dan became a Christian in 1989.  He is married with three children.  Hear Dan’s full story in The Key.

AN EVENING WITH STUART TOWNEND

Stuart Townend, the son of a Church of England vicar in Halifax, West Yorkshire was the youngest of four children.  He studied literature at the University of Sussex and started learning to play the piano aged 7.  He became a Christian at 13 and began song writing at the age of 22.  Married to Caroline with three children, Stuart has become one of the most well known and respected Christian hymn and song writers of our generation.  It is a great privilege to have Stuart visit Ipswich for what promises to be a great evening of conversation and song.  Tickets £5 each.

NB: This event is on a FRIDAY and will be held in the adjacent Bethesda Baptist Church, NOT in The Key.

HARVEST BUFFET WITH PAM RHODES

Pam Rhodes is best known as a presenter of the BBC long running programme “Songs of Praise”.  Pam started her career in news journalism as the anchor for Anglia TV’s daily news programme for seven years.  She also presented network holiday and travel programmes as well as her own daily interview series on Lifestyle Television, Radio 2, Premier Radio and other long term programmes for London Weekend, Thames and BFBS Television.  Pam has compered televised recordings in venues including the Sydney Opera House and the Royal Albert Hall.  Pam has also established herself as a mainstream author.  Hear the Pam Rhodes story at The Key.  Tickets £5 each.
