OPERATIONAL MANAGER for The Key
"The Key" Christian outreach centre was purchased by Bethesda Baptist Church in 1991 as a former public house and nightclub and underwent total refurbishment before opening its doors for the first time in 1999.  Since then it has established itself at the heart of the Ipswich scene.  The centre is open three days a week as a thriving Coffee Shop and is used extensively by other Churches, charities, community groups and has an extensive Christian outreach programme.

The post of Operational Manager is a key position.  Responding to Managing Trustees, the successful applicant will have day to day responsibility for overseeing the Centre's activities and staff, both paid and voluntary.

The post will be for 25 hours per week and salaried but with opportunity for further hours for additional functions.

The Key are looking for a motivated and dedicated person with a desire to serve in this critical but fulfilling role at the heart of the Christian community in Ipswich.

The Sign of the Fish was used by early Christians as a means of identifying themselves to each other and was in common use through to the 4th century AD. In recent times, its use has been restored and is displayed by many Christians to signify that they recognise that Jesus Christ is their Saviour and Lord.
